ICT & COMPUTER TRAINING PROGRAMME

Volunteers associated with IYS organise on a regular interval, free computer training initiatives for the students of marginalised and poor families. The target groups are usually children below the age of 14 years and the whole program is usually for a period of 15 days. Volunteers select meritorious and deserving children to provide training.

Mobile Library Service for Rural Poor

ASSP Library Service operates 3 timetables across the city to bring the library into the heart of the local community. The service is a part of ASSP’s education promotion activities. The mobile Library covers both inner and outer Bhubaneswar. ASSP’s mission is to provide access to reading, information, lifelong learning, leisure and cultural activities for the rural poor who have no access to Local librarie`s nor have purchasing power for. The mobile library has around 3,000 books in its lap. The library has three time table in and around Bhubaneswar.
