Introduction

Since last 21 years Ishaneswar Yubak Sangha (IYS) has been trying to provide basic service to improve the socio-economic condition of the marginalized and weaker section of the rural areas. IYS has attempted to gather confidence and faith to provide deed- based services to strengthen Self Help Groups, giving paramount importance to create awareness on the importance of educational needs particularly primary education and undertaking health related activities. It facilitates mobilization to public opinion and peoples participation in economic. social and political spheres for the development and substance of an efficient and productive social order that would lead to sustainable human development. IYS has already established itself as a centre of excellence, providing its dedicated services to the needy people for their all round development, IYS marches forward to eradicate poverty. ignorance, sufferings. exploitation and justice. During this year IYS has been able to contribute in empowering people of remote rural areas by means of different need based developmental interventions. It has put up with the problems of social, economic and ethnic nature with perseverance and human perspective to the welfare of the oppressed and distressed groups of the community. No doubt this has been possible due to the intense cooperation, participation and support it has been able to get from the community for which it works besides eminent personals and donors. But IYS still has a long part to cover Apart from the usual intervention programs held for the target group the organization also provides support to other small NGOs and organizations ink providing training and capacity building besides providing consultancy and advocacy services. We feel confident that our effort and resources has been utilized efficiently and perfectly Our track record as a Non-government organization has been able to bring remarkable attention to the people

Secretary's Note

ISHANESWAR YUBAK SANGHA is a reputable organization that was founded in 1981/82. It is headquartered in Nabinabag Khordha, Odisha, India. The organization operates under the legal entity of a registered under the Indian Society Act 1860, with a specific registration number granted by the Officer of the Addional District Magistrate, Khordha Odisha. The organization has also obtained exemptions under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961. Furthermore, it is registered under the NGO Darpan Portal of Niti Ayog and CSR under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It has continues its tireless efforts to uplift those on the brink of poverty, offering sustainable livelihoods and enhancing their quality of life. With an expanding reach, the organization has positively impacted the lives of countless beneficiaries. In addition to its focus on National Child Labour Project(NCLP), Education and Computer Training Programme,livelihood programs, Womens Empowerment Programme, Health Awareness Programme, Youth Devlopment Programme, Animals Welfare Programme, SC and ST, Minority Devlopement Programme, Swachh Bharat Mission Programme(RWSS), Agriculture Programme(Millet Mission Project, Govt. of Odisha), OSSPED( Govt. of Odisha), Community Radio Station(CRS- Ministry of Information and Broadcasting), and other social welfare initiatives. Through its unwavering dedication, the organization has established credibility and achieved remarkable milestones.The organization remains steadfast in its commitment to implementing activities with the same spirit and dedication. Programs are executed with renewed enthusiasm, harnessing the potential of beneficiaries who have made substantial contributions to the success of these initiatives. These achievements are a testament to the collective efforts of beneficiaries, project staff, project consultants, and the organization’s infrastructure has been stable. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the well-wishers, donors, members, and staff of the organization for their valuable contributions and unwavering support. Without their assistance, the successful implementation of these programs would not have been possible to this extent. What started as weekend literacy classes for underprivileged children has evolved into a comprehensive development organization touching over 15,000 lives across 300+ villages. Our journey reflects the power of grassroots action and community-driven change.

To enhance the quality of life of people by ensuring justice and dignity. To integrate principles of gender sensitivity and justice in all interventions. To promote community health, education and family welfareprogrammes. To promote education in general and primary and adult education in particular. To preserve environment, ecology and promote social forestry’s.To develop and promote self help groups and the concept of thrift and credit among the rural women. 2007

Foundation & First Steps

IYS Khurda was officially registered. Started with literacy programs for 50 children in 3 villages around Khurda district.

2012

Women Empowerment Initiative

Launched our first Self Help Group (SHG) program, empowering 200 women with financial literacy and micro-credit facilities.

2015

Healthcare Expansion

Organized our first health camp, reaching 1,000 people. Established partnerships with local healthcare providers.

2018

Youth Leadership Program

Launched comprehensive youth development initiatives, training 500+ young leaders across 50 villages.

2020

COVID-19 Response

Mobilized emergency relief efforts, distributing food and healthcare supplies to 5,000+ families during the pandemic.

2022

Odisha Millet Mission

Launched sustainable agriculture initiatives under the Odisha Millet Mission, promoting nutritious millets and empowering local farmers through training and community-based programs.

2023

Digital Transformation

Launched digital literacy programs and established technology centers in 10 villages, bridging the digital divide.

2025

Scaling Impact

Reached 15,000+ lives across 300+ villages with comprehensive programs in education, healthcare, and livelihood development.
